Very well made and I appreciate that it was a free gift.

I'm a genealogist and bought the Watch Roll | Waxed Canvas to store ancestors' vintage company watches from the 1920s & 1930s I recently had restored. Though this watch roll is "pricey" than it should be, it's definitely a good product for my keepsake watch collection.

The slots are very small. No large watches like the lunar pilot are you getting into this roll

I hesitated to buy it because many reviewers stated it wouldn't fit larger watches and all I have, for the most part, are watches 42mm and larger. But I read every review and others said it fit larger watches just fine. I decided to buy it because I could always send it back. Upon receiving it I looked it over thoroughly and found the stitching to be very well done and straight. The canvas material was of excellent quality and the leather tie was thick and sufficient. I immediately got out my collection of diver watches so I could try them in the canvas watch roll. They are 42mm watches but when measured from one side of the case to the outer edge of the crown they are 44.55mm. I had no trouble fitting them in the provided slot. I decided to try my Fleiger Nav B-Uhr as that one is the largest watch in my collection at 47mm. From the outer edge of the case to the edge of the crown it measures 49.5mm and it also fit. I'm not sure what size watches the other reviewers were trying to fit in the roll but I had no trouble with any of my watches. I would like to address the reviewers who received the Canvas Watch Roll as a free gift and gave it three stars or less because they didn't know what it was. It's not Barton Watch Band's fault you don't know what a watch roll is for so why give the item 3 stars or less because of your ignorance? If you don't know what a watch roll is for you should probably stop wearing watches and use your phone to give you the time.

The quality is nice but I am extremely disappointed. The slots are too small to hold the intended watches.

The watch roll is every well made and over time i hope that it will give a little so i can use it the the watches that i got it for that the monument it will only take my 40s and under comfortably not one of my chronograph watches wll a fit.

Great watch roll for storing your watches. Love how it becomes softer with time. Starts to get a little cozy for watches over 42mm. Barton was awesome and sent me another watch roll after I gave feedback about my second roll which had the strap oriented differently from my original Barton watch roll. See photo for detail; the bottom khaki roll is my first roll and the top is the second roll. I prefer the way the leather band wraps around the khaki roll with the finished leather side facing outside whereas the top darker watch roll has the band facing out on the unfinished side when wrapped. A minor detail I know, but worth mentioning. Oddly enough, the replacement watch roll also had the same (wrong) orientation. Thanks Barton for your customer service.

Love the roll, but takes a little bit to break in. I use it to store my watches instead of a case. Have bought two of them, but with my last one, the leather strap was put on reversed so when you wrap it around the roll, the unfinished leather side is facing out. I prefer the finished leather side facing out as it is listed on their website. My first watch roll was correct though. Minor and doesn't affect the functionality, but thought I would mention. Thanks!

Very tight holding area for watches. Could prevent thick watches from fitting easily.
